Ric Lipson BSc MArch DipArch ARB
Ric is a Partner, production designer and registered architect at STUFISH Entertainment Architects since 2006. His passion for theatre and live events started young, leading him to study architecture at the Bartlett, UCL, where he honed his ability to merge creative design with technical vision.
Over the years at STUFISH, Ric has become a unique collaborator while designing, creatively directing and producing world-class live shows. From global tours to unforgettable one-off spectacles, he brings a deep understanding of the unique demands and opportunities of live performance. His experience spans every aspect of production, allowing him to create immersive live experiences that connect audiences on a powerful level.
Ric has led and contributed to a plethora of shows, from global tours to one-off spectacles.
Key projects include show designs for Madonna, Queen + Adam Lambert, U2, Beyoncé, Beyoncé & Jay-Z, Adele, Michael Bublé, FEID, Take That, Lana Del Rey, Sabrina Carpenter, Andrea Bocelli, Rufus Du Sol, Stormzy, Lady Gaga, Helene Fischer, Mumford & Sons, Robbie Williams, Global Citizen Festival, Softcell, EDC Las Vegas, ‘We Will Rock You’ global productions, Monty Python, The British Fashion Awards, The National Television Awards, BBC’s The Queen’s ‘Platinum Jubilee Concert’, and HM The King’s ‘Coronation Concert’.
Ric's design philosophy centers around holistically crafting memorable moments, ensuring every show, whether intimate or grand, is an unforgettable experience. From initial design meetings to the first performance, his approach to designing for entertainment is focused on the relationship of the performer to the audience, their experience and their memories.
